The John Guest Speedfit bent tap connector provides a quick, secure connection between 15mm plastic or copper pipe and a fixture or appliance with a 1/2-inch MBSP connection point. Its bent design is suitable for horizontal pipe runs and helps simplify installation in confined spaces. The fitting includes a brass swivel nut and sealing washer for a reliable joint. Push the fitting fully onto the pipe, then hand-tighten it onto the thread. To demount, push the collet towards the fitting body and pull the pipe free. Installation requires no specialist tools, hot works, glue or flux. The Grip and Seal collet uses stainless steel teeth and an O-ring seal, while the Twist and Lock mechanism adds security and compression. Suitable for hot and cold water and central heating systems. Supplied as a pack of 5. Connects 15mm plastic or copper pipe to a 1/2-inch MBSP male thread using a fast, secure push-fit design. Includes a brass swivel nut and sealing washer to help create a reliable, leak-tight joint. Twist and Lock mechanism helps secure the fitting and reduce the risk of accidental disconnection. Non-toxic brass construction resists corrosion and helps prevent scale build-up for lasting performance. Suitable for Speedfit PEX and polybutylene pipe with inserts, as well as copper pipe. Designed for hot and cold water and central heating systems. WRAS and BSI compliant for use in potable water and heating systems. Designed, manufactured and assembled in the UK by John Guest.
