F-Connector Compression Crimp Tool and 10x Quality F-Connectors Used for This is an essential kit for anyone needing to crimp or fit screw on compression F-Connectors to coaxial cable. Perfect for repairing broken connectors or for making your own quality cables, our kit is great for beginners or professionals as it is easy to use and built to a great quality. Useful Information (Crimp Tool) Our high quality, professional crimp tool is extremely easy to use, a comfortable hand grip has also been installed to avoid causing any discomfort after extended use. There is a handy locking mechanism that keeps everything compact and safe when the crimpers are in your toolbox. The crimp tool is also waterproof allowing it to be used in a number of different environments without subjugating it to stress or damage. Useful Information (Connectors):Compression Connector The great thing about compression connectors is you do not need to solder. The compression tool will cause the connector to clamp on to the inserted cable insulation and shield very securely, they are far better than twist-on F connectors for this reason. Weather Proof Connectors Our compression F-Connectors create such a strong clamp to cables that they are weather proof when crimped. A small seal is forced to the read of the connector when crimped which creates the weather proof seal allowing these connectors to be used in an indoor or outdoor environment. Suitable for the following cable RG6 Coaxial CableIf you don't know what type of coaxial cable you have, this connector will crimp to coaxial cable with an outer diameter of 7.0mm +/-0.4mm. Excellent Standard of Manufacture Precision manufactured and built with very high quality components. Dimensions 21mm x 11mmdia Directions of Use You will need to strip the PVC outer layer without damaging the core inside, you can do this with one of our cable strippers but if you are confident with a pair of snips/pliers, you can strip the outer layer away with one of those. Having removed enough insulation, you will see the silver/copper coloured wire net/braid around the internal insulation. Fold this braiding back over the outer PVC layer and then remove any foil shielding. You can now insert an F-Connector over the top of the prepared cable so that the internal insulation is flush with the hole in the connector, insert the cable into the crimp tool and close all the way. Now trim any excess copper away from the top of the connector so it protrudes around 2-3mm. Your F-Connector is now securely crimped in place. Refunds
