B&Q - M8 X 35mm Black Hex Socket Countersunk Bolts (Pack Of: 10) Din 7991 Flat Head Allen Screws

Black hex socket countersunk bolts manufactured to DIN 7991, for fixings where the bolt head needs to sit flush with the surface: flat-pack furniture and cabinetry, 3D printer and machine frames, electronics enclosures and general workshop and DIY fixing jobs. This pack contains 10 M8 x 35mm bolts. The 90 degree conical countersunk head seats flush with, or just below, the surrounding material once fully driven home, leaving a smooth, snag-free surface rather than a proud bolt head. The fully recessed internal hexagon socket lets you tighten the bolt with an Allen key, straight down the centre of the fastener, which also suits fixing points too shallow or tight for a spanner or screwdriver.Made from carbon steel to property class 10.9, fully threaded, with a black oxide finish.Specification:Size: M8 x 35mm (thread diameter x total length)Standard: DIN 7991Material: carbon steel, property class 10.9Finish: black oxideHead: 90 degree countersunk, 16mm diameter, 4.4mm highDrive: internal hexagon (Allen key) socket, 5mm keyThread: full length, metric M8Pack size: 10Sizing note: countersunk bolts are measured by their total length, including the head. Measure from the flat top face of the head to the tip of the thread to confirm the correct length.Fitting: drill, punch or machine a countersink taper into the fixing material sized to match the 16mm head, so the bolt seats flush rather than standing proud or sinking below the surface. Drive with a 5mm hex key until the head is fully seated, into a tapped hole, a standard nut or a threaded insert with a matching M8 metric thread.Ten sizes are available: M4 x 8mm, M4 x 12mm, M5 x 10mm, M5 x 20mm, M6 x 16mm, M6 x 30mm, M8 x 20mm, M8 x 25mm, M8 x 30mm and M8 x 35mm, in packs of 2, 10, 50 and 100.
