Grow your own glamourous Sunflowers in a delightfully dark red/orange shade! Reaching up to 1.5m tall, Sunflower 'Velvet Queen' boasts uniquely coloured, deep velvet red to copper blooms. The medium-sized flowers have edible seed – try toasting the seed kernels for a healthy snack. Companion planting: try growing sunflowers with chives to deter aphids.Sow early spring to early summer outdoors where they are to flower. Sow 12mm (0.5in) deep in rows 30cm (12in) apart. Refunds
