Transform your garden with the Thompson and Morgan Clematis Winter Beauty Pot 7cm 2 Pack. This vigorous and easy-to-cultivate evergreen climber is ideal for creating a year-round screen and rapidly covering walls, fences, or trellises. The dense foliage ensures greenery throughout the year, and in late winter and early spring, you can appreciate its charming, lightly scented white bell-shaped flowers. This hardy climber thrives in a variety of conditions but is particularly well-suited for sheltered areas, making it a great choice for planting near the house where you can enjoy the stunning winter blooms from the window. Start by potting clematis plants and allowing them to grow until they are sufficiently large for their permanent locations. When planting clematis, select a spot that receives sun or partial shade, and plant the climber deeply in moist, fertile, well-drained soil. Train the clematis onto appropriate supports like trellises, wires, or a standalone climbing frame. Be sure to feed and water regularly during the growing season. This clematis variety blooms in early spring on last year’s growth. Pruning should occur in the summer after flowering. When trimming Clematis Winter Beauty, completely remove any damaged or dead stems, and cut back the remaining stems to a pair of healthy buds to keep the plant within its designated area. In the spring, apply a layer of well-rotted manure or garden compost around the base of the plant to safeguard the roots and retain soil moisture. Recommended position: Full sun or partial shade; Height: Up to 4m when fully developed; Spread: Up to 1.2m when fully developed.
