B&Q - Prunus First Blush TreeCherry Pink Spring FlowersDark Green FoliageLow Maintenance (5-6Ft)
Prunus first blush has a narrow, upright appearance that is ideal for smaller spaces. Masses of highly fragrant pink cherry blossom flowers cover the branches from early spring. Dark green foliage follows the flowers and turns a bright shade of orange-red in autumn. While this cherry blossom tree plant produces cherry-like fruits, they are usually insignificant and shouldn’t be eaten. Plant your cherry blossom tree in full sun or partial shade, in a sheltered spot where the wind won’t destroy the delicate double flowers. Prunus first blush is a low maintenance garden tree and, once established, only needs to be watered during dry spells. Minimal pruning is required to maintain the tree’s neat symmetrical shape. Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
