Carbeth Plants Green/Light Fresh Flat Carpet Moss
Carpet moss is a live, flat sheet moss (Hypnum cupressiforme) that arrives ready to lay straight onto soil, wood or rock, with no shaping or trimming needed. Its dense, velvety texture creates a natural green covering from the moment it's unpacked, which is why it's a popular choice for terrariums, moss walls and vivariums.. This large box suits bigger projects such as terrarium bases, moss walls, orchid pots and kokedama. It's just as useful for seasonal work, with florists and crafters using it to line wreath rings and dress festive arrangements, so if you're after fresh moss for sale for Christmas, this is a ready-to-use option.. Cut and packed fresh to order. Flat, low-growing habit, suited to terrariums and shaded garden ground cover. Low maintenance when kept in suitable moist, shaded conditions. We offer this moss in two convenient box sizes to suit a range of projects: small box (approx. 7.5cm x 15cm x 20cm) and large box (approx. 15cm x 30cm x 40cm). Both options provide generous coverage with 4 x sheets of moss and are packed fresh for quality.. As this is a natural product, each sheet is individual and may vary slightly in shade, texture or thickness depending on harvest conditions. Colour is usually deeper green when moist and may look duller if it has dried slightly in transit; light misting can help it rehydrate.
