The Irwin 6X Blue Groove 28mm Wood Drill Bit is designed for drilling large diameter holes in timber, making it ideal for substantial plumbing installations, major electrical conduit work, and heavy-duty structural applications. This 28mm variant provides the drilling capacity required for the most demanding tasks, including larger waste pipes, significant cable bundles, and substantial fixings. Engineered to deliver six times faster drilling penetration than standard flat bits, this 28mm drill bit significantly improves productivity on large-scale drilling tasks. The innovative Tri-Flute design ensures rapid chip ejection, maintaining consistent drilling speed and preventing bit clogging even when drilling deep holes in dense timber. A full screw tip provides positive engagement with the workpiece and effortless pull-through, whilst precision cutting spurs create clean, professional holes with minimal breakout. The tapered flute geometry reduces binding during operation, ensuring smooth performance even when drilling through challenging hardwoods and dense materials. Heat-treated for exceptional durability, this 28mm drill bit is built to withstand the rigours of intensive professional use across demanding site and workshop applications.
